Back Alley Parties to resume

Wednesday, June 23 at 6 p.m. come to the grand opening of the outdoor palapa and park at the Wicked Spud in Hailey  (Idaho), which coincides with first Back Alley Party of the season featuring the music of Fill In the Blanks, who will open for the 812 band. Free. Raffles, wine, beer and tee-shirt sales will benefit the Blaine County Museum.

When the Yankees win

Others take it as offense

Spring’s game speaks aloud.

And this my second attempt in keeping with Haiku’s theme in which it typically contains a kigo (seasonal reference), and a kireji (cutting word).

Wood River Valley buzz

Spring is fully in flower (metaphorically speaking) in the Wood River Valley. There are bike rides taking place, hikes, wildflowers to view and races to be run. Coming up this week are various events of note including music, politics and a girl-power event.

And next weekend will be the Sun Valley Wellness Festival.
